Inter Miami secured victory this Thursday against Real Salt Lake (2-0), marking the kickoff of the new Major League Soccer season. Lionel Messi showed no mercy.

Thanks to assists from Messi and Suarez, Taylor (in the 39th minute) and Gomez (in the 83rd minute) secured Inter Miami’s first win of the season.

And there was no mercy: Lionel Messi’s main goal is to score. No matter who is in front… or underneath.

A Salt Lake City player was lying on the ground, seemingly injured, but the former PSG player didn’t hesitate to dribble past him, lifting the ball over the player before taking his shot.
