Neymar Accused of Undeclared Labor by Undocumented Housekeeper
Al-Hilal star and former PSG player Neymar is facing legal action, being taken to labor court by a former housekeeper who worked for him during his time at Paris Saint-Germain, as reported by Le Parisien.
A 35-year-old Brazilian mother and former employee have accused Neymar of exploiting her for nearly two years. She claims to have worked at Neymar’s residence from January 2021 to October 2022 without an employment contract and without being officially declared.
The complaint, reviewed by Le Parisien, alleges working seven days a week, receiving payment in cash, unpaid overtime, the absence of leave, and no medical follow-up, even during her pregnancy. She claims to have worked until just 15 days before giving birth, performing various tasks, including nail care for the player’s partner.
The mother, who documented her workdays, is seeking €368,000 from Neymar and is even threatening to escalate the matter to criminal charges. Since giving birth last October, she has reportedly had no contact with the player or his entourage and is currently relying on charitable organizations to support her children.
While the woman’s lawyers attempted to reach an amicable settlement, they have not received a response from Neymar or his representatives.
