Tuttosport has unveiled the results of the Golden Boy award, which honors the best player under 21 playing in Europe.
From an initial list of 100 players, gradually narrowed down, Paris Saint-Germain had a finalist for the 2023 edition: 17-year-old midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery. However, it was Jude Bellingham, the 20-year-old attacking midfielder from Real Madrid and England, who claimed the prestigious trophy.
Warren Zaïre Emery was among the 20 finalists, including Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich), Xavi Simons (RB Leipzig), Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen), Benjamin Sesko (RB Salzburg), Antonio Silva (Benfica), and Rasmus Højlund (Manchester United).
Four French players were also still in contention: Warren Zaïre-Emery (Paris SG), Mathys Tel (Bayern Munich), Lucas Gourna-Douath (RB Salzburg), and Andy Diouf (Lens).
