Paris Saint-Germain has successfully passed its mid-season review with the French National Directorate of Management Control (DNCG), which has approved the club’s financial accounts without any irregularities, according to an official statement from the regulatory body.
With the green light from the DNCG, PSG is now free to move ahead with its winter transfer plans. The approval of the club’s finances means PSG can focus entirely on its sporting objectives for the season, while also preparing for an active transfer window. The club is expected to strengthen its squad, particularly in attack, in order to increase competition for places on the wings.
Luis Enrique is reportedly looking to bolster the offensive options, with a focus on providing more competition for players like Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé. PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi confirmed that the club would be open to any interesting opportunities in the market.
In addition to PSG, five other Ligue 1 clubs—AJ Auxerre, AS Monaco, FC Nantes, RC Lens, and Strasbourg—have also received approval from the DNCG, highlighting a generally healthy financial management situation across the top tier of French football.
With financial stability in place, PSG can now fully focus on building a stronger squad for the remainder of the season.
