Khvicha Kvaratskhelia might ultimately stay at Napoli, as the Italian club is doing everything in its power to secure a contract extension.

The Georgian winger came close to signing with Paris Saint-Germain during the last summer transfer window, but he ultimately decided to remain in Naples.

While Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has been keen on extending Kvaratskhelia’s contract, which runs until June 2027, negotiations for a renewal have been challenging due to the club’s initial offer not meeting the player’s expectations.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Napoli is now preparing a tempting offer for the young star, proposing a salary of €5 to €6 million per season. This would see Kvaratskhelia’s current wages quadruple, potentially pushing the PSG threat away for good.
