According to L’Équipe, the Nigerian international is considering refusing to train in order to force his club into negotiations. Interested clubs, including PSG, are reluctant to pay his €130 million release clause. This situation could put pressure on Napoli to find a more affordable transfer agreement for Osimhen’s suitors.

« Osimhen is reportedly determined to force the issue as Napoli remains steadfast in discussions with various interested clubs. According to Italian sources, he might stop showing up for training in the coming days, » L’Équipe reports.

« The PSG has re-entered the race in recent days, as the departure of an offensive player seems imminent. However, the capital club is not willing to pay the full amount of his release clause, » the sports daily emphasizes.
