Kylian Mbappé has been a Real Madrid player since Monday, July 1st. The Spanish club has published the first image of their new number 9.
From 11:59 PM on Sunday at PSG to 12:00 AM on Monday at Real Madrid. Kylian Mbappé is now officially a Madrid player.
However, for the official presentation, there will be a bit of a wait. Depending on the French national team’s schedule, Kylian Mbappé could be presented to Real Madrid fans on July 16th. But it won’t be before then. The player is willing to shorten his vacation to join the club’s pre-season tour in the USA.
In the meantime, Mbappé also has to manage a financial dispute with PSG. The two parties are clashing over withheld salary and bonuses, with the club claiming Mbappé did not keep his word by leaving on a free transfer. So, this saga is far from over…
Here is the image, but it appears to be a… montage. Real Madrid has not yet revealed his number, which will likely be done during the official presentation. He is expected to wear the number 9.
