Keylor Navas, the Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper who is set to leave the club this summer, is facing serious allegations from a former employee. The man has filed a complaint against the player for concealed labor and revealed unacceptable working conditions.

According to BFMTV, Keylor Navas’ former employee allegedly worked as an assistant and jack-of-all-trades for 20 months, starting in September 2019. He was reportedly forced to work up to 90 hours a week for a salary of 3200 euros per month, paid in cash. The complainant also claims to have been housed in a basement room with no window.

Concealed labor and lack of a contract

The former employee assures that Keylor Navas had promised to draw up a work contract for him, but that he never did. He also explains that his hiring was conditional on obtaining a gun license and the presence of a pump-action shotgun, a category C weapon, at Navas’ home.

Illegal possession of a firearm

The complainant claims that Keylor Navas sometimes used this weapon at night for fun. These facts could also lead to legal proceedings against him. It is important to note that Keylor Navas is presumed innocent and that justice will have to determine his involvement in these accusations.
