Milan Škriniar Opens Up About His Turbulent Half-Season at PSG
Milan Škriniar reflects on his first year at PSG in the Polish press: it had its ups and downs.
Arriving last summer at the end of his contract with Inter Milan, Milan Škriniar did not entirely convince, mainly due to various physical setbacks.
A first half of the season filled with excitement and promise, and then, everything went off course. Milan Škriniar opened up to Sport.Aktuality.sk about his first season at PSG.
« I would divide the season into two halves, one before and one after the injury, » stated Škriniar, who suffered an ankle injury last January. « While I was doing well, I was one of the busiest players at PSG. Everything was great. I played, we played well, we won. Unfortunately, an ankle injury occurred, and it slowed me down a bit. »
The Injury Changed Everything
« When I look back, those were beautiful moments. After the first half of the season, it was great, but when I specifically look at the second half of the season, I am not very satisfied, » continued Milan Škriniar.
« When I look at the season as a whole now, I am happy. It’s my first season with a new team, and besides these minute statistics, we won three cups, so I can certainly be satisfied. Of course, it could have been even better in the Champions League because we had it within reach, but we have three other trophies in reserve. »
