Vitinha is set to shed his No. 17 jersey for the upcoming season at PSG, as the club aims to offer him the former number of Verratti.

At the heart of PSG’s project, the Portuguese midfielder has become a cornerstone of Luis Enrique’s squad. Despite sporting the No. 17 on his back, Vitinha is expected to change his number for the next season.

According to RMC Sport, PSG intends to extend the contract of the player, currently signed until June 2027.

To persuade him, the Parisian management is considering offering him the legendary No. 6, previously worn by Marco Verratti in recent seasons.
