PSG’s interest in Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes appears to be growing stronger.
On Wednesday evening at the Parc des Princes, Bruno Guimaraes’ agent, Alexis Malavolta, was present to watch PSG take on Rennes. Naturally, this has reignited rumors of the Brazilian’s potential move to PSG.
In England, The Shields Gazette reports that PSG is indeed pursuing Guimaraes. They also provide a significant detail regarding the player’s release clause, which is said to be set at €116 million. However, Newcastle has reportedly set this release clause exclusively for foreign clubs, making negotiations with Premier League clubs more challenging.
Manchester City and Liverpool are also reportedly interested in signing the former Lyon player. However, PSG appears to be gaining a slight edge in the race for his signature.
