Playing time for Kolo Muani: Enrique responds to Deschamps
Luis Enrique has responded to Didier Deschamps regarding the playing time of Randal Kolo Muani at PSG.
The coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, is not accustomed to commenting on club news. However, he made an exception for Randal Kolo Muani. Half-seriously, half-jokingly, DD wished that Luis Enrique would give « a little more playing time » to the PSG forward. A remark that may not have pleased the PSG coach.
« Kolo Muani has played 1600 minutes at the highest level, in his first season with competition like he has never experienced before. I like him a lot, I am very happy with him. He plays centrally, on the left or right sides, I know where he should play. I invite him, and he always does it, to give his maximum. »
However, from a financial standpoint, it’s complicated. Bought at a high price from Eintracht Frankfurt for over 90 million euros. 8 goals this season so far.
Luis Enrique also took the opportunity to mention the case of Gonçalo Ramos, the other PSG forward contested since the beginning of the season. « He has played 1500 minutes. You give him a minute, and he’s ready, » said the Parisian coach. « On the bench, in 15 seconds, he’s ready! That’s what the fans want: for them to be ready, to run, to fight, and to play because they do it well! »
