Montpellier vs PSG: Stakes, Broadcast Channel & streaming, and Kick-off Time
Montpellier Hérault SC hosts Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 Uber Eats on Sunday at 8:45 PM CET. Here are all the details about the match.
The Stakes: Montpellier has suffered nine consecutive defeats against PSG in Ligue 1 Uber Eats, marking its longest streak of losses against a single opponent in the top flight. In their last twelve encounters in Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Montpellier has conceded at least two goals each time they faced Paris SG.
Although Montpellier secured a victory against Nice on March 8th (2-1), the club has not managed to string together two consecutive wins in Ligue 1 Uber Eats since April 2023. Nevertheless, in their last four matches in the top flight, MHSC has won two matches, a performance superior to their previous twelve matches (5 draws, 6 defeats).
PSG Stuck in Draws
Paris Saint-Germain has not won their last three matches in Ligue 1 Uber Eats, marking their longest winless streak in a single season of Ligue 1 Uber Eats since April-May 2022 (also with three draws). PSG has not endured a longer winless streak in a single season in the top flight since April-May 2018 (with four matches).
Montpellier has conceded eight draws in their thirteen home matches in Ligue 1 Uber Eats 2023/24 (with two wins and three defeats). This makes them the team with the highest number of home draws among the teams in the top five European leagues this season (only Udinese has more, with nine home draws).
The Referee: Florent Batta will be the referee at Montpellier. The federal referee will officiate the 26th round match of Ligue 1 between Paris Saint-Germain and Montpellier Hérault SC, this Sunday, March 17th at 8:45 PM at the Stade de la Mosson et du Mondial 98.
