First leg of the Champions League Round of 16 – Paris Saint-Germain will face Real Sociedad at Parc des Princes on Wednesday night. UEFA has unveiled the referee.
PSG vs Real Sociedad, the big match is this Wednesday. And the referee for the match has been selected: it’s Marco Guida, 42 years old, who will be in charge.
The Italian referee has officiated 193 matches in Serie A. However, in the Champions League, he has only refereed 7 matches, including a PSG/Leipzig match in 2021 during the group stage.
Assisting the referee will be Ciro Carbone and Giorgiio Peretti. The role of the fourth official will be taken by Fabian Maresca. And the video assistant referees will be Paolo Valeri and Aleandro Di Paolo.
