Nicolas Anelka New CEO of Turkish Club

The former PSG and Arsenal player is changing roles, as he has now become the president of Ümraniyespor, a club in Turkey.

Welcomed as the « professor, » Nicolas Anelka has taken on the role of club president in Turkey. He will lead Ümraniyespor, a second-division Turkish club.

« Welcome, Professor! Our club has reached an agreement with Nicolas Anelka for the position of CEO. We welcome Nicolas Anelka and wish him success, » the Turkish club announced in a statement.

In February 2021, he had served as the director of sports for three months at Hyères, a club in the French National 2 league owned by Mourad Boudjellal. Nicolas Anelka had also worked as an assistant coach at Mumbai City in India.
