Borussia Dortmund defender Niklas Süle has commented on his impressive save against Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé during their Champions League match. The encounter ended in a 1-1 draw, with a key moment occurring when Süle made a remarkable save to deny Mbappé.

Mbappé had successfully navigated past Dortmund’s defense with a long pass from Lucas Hernandez. After controlling the ball and evading the goalkeeper, Mbappé found himself facing an empty net, but Süle managed to spectacularly deflect the ball.

After the match, the 28-year-old Süle shared his thoughts on this crucial save. He expressed regret that Dortmund couldn’t prevent Mbappé’s opportunity earlier.

“I think I can defend against him better beforehand. Of course, it looks spectacular; you’ve all seen my crotch. Somehow, I lift my leg on reflex, but I think you have to stop Mbappé before because he is known for his speed.”
