Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is gearing up for the second half of the season with plans to strengthen its squad, targeting three specific positions.

PSG is taking decisive steps in the transfer market. Ekitike, NDour, and Soler could be loaned out or sold. However, in the opposite direction, there are incoming movements as well. According to L’Equipe, PSG aims to sign a left-back in the winter transfer window. The heavy workload of Lucas Hernandez, coupled with Nuno Mendes’ prolonged absence, and the limited utilization of Layvin Kurzawa by coach Luis Enrique, have prompted the club to seek reinforcement in that position.

As per PSGInside_Actus on Twitter, PSG is not just eyeing a left-back. The club’s executives are reportedly working on recruiting players for three positions during the winter transfer window—a left-back, a right midfielder, and a central midfielder.

« This could involve purchases, as well as loans with or without an option to buy. It all depends on the budget and negotiations, » states a well-informed source.
