According to L’Équipe, Kylian Mbappé still plans to leave PSG next summer. However, he has agreed to give up some of his bonuses, including his loyalty bonus for this year, which represents a saving of over €100 million for the club, roughly equivalent to what he could have received as a transfer fee if he had been sold this summer.

Despite this, Mbappé has not changed his stance and reportedly does not want to extend his contract with PSG. He aims to be a free agent and have the freedom to choose his next club.

On PSG’s side, especially with Al-Khelaïfi, there is still hope that Mbappé will agree to extend his contract, although they are aware that it won’t be easy. They want to capitalize on the current improved relations and initiate discussions. The arrival of players close to the vice-world champion (Lucas Hernandez, Ousmane Dembélé, and Randal Kolo Muani) and the overall improvement in the team’s quality and depth this summer are seen as factors that could play favorably in future negotiations. PSG believes it has the tools to perform well on the field and is hoping to focus solely on winning this season and beyond, with the expectation that Mbappé will be a key player in this scenario.
