Inter Milan Makes Offer for Benjamin Pavard: Transfer Talks Heat Up
According to information from Sky Sport Italia, Inter Milan has reportedly made an offer to Bayern Munich in an attempt to acquire French defender Benjamin Pavard (27 years old).
The possibility of Benjamin Pavard joining Inter Milan seems to be heating up. According to Sky, the Italian club has submitted an initial proposal of 25 million euros to Bayern Munich in order to secure the services of Benjamin Pavard (27 years old). However, this offer has been rejected by the German club, who would prefer a fee of 35 million euros to part with the player, whose contract expires in 2024. Discussions between the two clubs are ongoing.
Benjamin Pavard’s desire is to leave Bayern during this summer, marking the end of a four-year period since his transfer from Stuttgart (for 35 million euros).
Several Premier League clubs have shown interest in him, notably Manchester United. However, the recent U-turn by Harry Maguire, who seemed poised to commit to West Ham before changing his mind, complicates the situation. The former Lille player is reportedly attracted to Manchester United’s project and the idea of playing as a central defender.
