Neymar #10 Jerseys Flying off the Shelves in Saudi Arabia

Just one day after Neymar’s (31 years old) departure to Al-Hilal was officially announced, the frenzy has taken over Saudi Arabia: jerseys with the number 10 are being snatched up by the masses.

According to reports from L’Équipe, the Saudi club sold over 10,000 jerseys featuring the former Paris Saint-Germain player’s name within just seven hours.

« I had never seen anything like this before. The store was packed until closing, around midnight, » said an employee of the « Al-Hilal Store. »

As a reminder, Neymar signed a two-year contract with Al-Hilal, reportedly earning an annual salary of around 150 million euros. The Saudi club secured the former FC Barcelona player for a sum close to 100 million euros, including bonuses.
