According to information from L’Equipe, the process of acquiring a minority stake in PSG is nearly complete, with the American investment fund Arctos Partners set to become the new partner.

The deal is on the brink of completion. L’Equipe reports that the American investment fund Arctos Partners is set to become a minority shareholder in PSG.

The partnership is expected to be finalized within the next two months, and the American fund plans to acquire a stake of between 5% and 15% in the club, which is currently 100% owned by Qatar Sport Investments (QSI). Executives from Arctos Partners visited France, during which they had the opportunity to tour PSG’s state-of-the-art new training center alongside the club’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, and also met with coach Luis Enrique.

According to L’Equipe’s information, the preferred option for the arrangement is to issue new shares of the club, allowing Arctos to obtain the desired ownership share in PSG, rather than a purchase of existing shares.
