Pedri Already Said No to PSG – Reports
Has PSG already been rejected by Pedri? According to the Spanish press, the Barcelona player has reportedly declined the offer to join Paris, despite Luis Enrique’s interest.
Paris Saint-Germain is not limiting its interest to just Ousmane Dembélé and Bernardo Silva. According to reports in the Spanish press, the Parisian club has also pursued the young midfielder from FC Barcelona, Pedri. This decision is said to be in response to a specific request from coach Luis Enrique.
However, the information regarding Pedri’s release clause seems to be confusing. Mundo Deportivo refutes rumors of a temporary release clause of 100 million euros for the 20-year-old player. In reality, Pedri has recently extended his contract with FC Barcelona until 2026, and his new release clause is a considerable amount: 1 billion euros.
MD also assures that Pedri has no intention of leaving FC Barcelona. The player has high ambitions for his career and wants to succeed with his club in Catalonia. Thus, despite PSG’s interest, it appears that Pedri is firmly committed to continuing his journey with Barça.
