Manchester City is adamant about keeping Bernardo Silva and has decided to consider him as non-transferable, rejecting any offers concerning the player this summer.

According to 90min, Manchester City explored other options in midfield, including Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich, Nicolo Barella from Inter Milan, and Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen. However, none of these players seem to be available, making it even more urgent for City to retain Bernardo Silva.

In an effort to appease Silva, sources have told 90min that Manchester City is prepared to offer him one of the most lucrative contracts in the club’s history, placing him on par with players like Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne.

The club’s executives hope that this offer will demonstrate Silva’s significance to the team and persuade him to stay. Silva’s current contract runs until 2025, giving Manchester City a favorable position as they do not need to sell him. Nevertheless, they wish to reward him if he chooses to remain with the club.
